TLDR: The purchasing experience with Ali was great 5/5 the after purchase experience was the worst I have ever had 2/5.

I purchased a used 2013 ford Edge from ErindWood near the end of august. The initial purchase experience was great, the sales rep ALI was helpful and knowledge able.

When I picked up my car though it had a balancing issue with the tires so bad I thought it would shake apart, I also noticed the exhaust seemed to be off, skewed basically with one tail pipe under the bumper while the other one was just out past it.

I brought the car back on the following Saturday (original pickup had been that Tuesday) for them to do the balancing and I had asked that they have a look at the exhaust and see if they can straighten it out or something.

When I got my car back and got the invoice it stated that one of the tires was in such bad shape that it could not be balanced and it needed to be replaced. It also stated that the exhausts was bent, it couldn’t be fixed and had to be replaced.

Now I went to my sales rep and asked about this, he said he would take care of it and call me back.

Ultimately it took multiple phone calls/emails before they got my car in around the end of October, they put two new tires on which I appreciate but did not touch the exhaust. The service manager said he would follow up with the sales manager Brad and then they would get back to me. Almost 3 weeks went by with no word so I left a voicemail and waited another week. No response finally he called me back and said they checked, the exhaust is fine and doesn’t need to be fixed. I just don’t understand why this had to take almost 2 months to resolve.
